WATC Wins Silver Award for its 2025 Annual Report
Recognition of our continued commitment to transparent and accountable reporting.
On Friday 27 March 2026, the Institute of Public Administration Australia WA (IPAA WA) hosted the 41st Annual W.S. Lonnie Awards, recognising excellence in annual reporting across the Western Australian government sector. WATC’s 2025 Annual Report received a Silver Award in the Public Financial and Non-Financial Corporations category.
The W.S. Lonnie Awards recognise annual reports that demonstrate accountability and transparency in a clear, concise and independent way. One of WATC’s core values is integrity – a commitment to being open, honest, and accountable. Our continued success at these awards reflects the consistent application of this value in our approach to annual reporting.
Special acknowledgement goes to the Marketing and Communications and Finance and Treasury Operations teams, along with all WATC staff that contributed and reviewed content. Collaboration and hard work have delivered another outstanding annual report for WATC.
An informative and well structured report with clear KPIs and a very good explanation of the Corporation’s role. The report demonstrated strong governance and strategic clarity and featured effective use of digital navigation, and a well articulated strategic outlook.
