Volunteering with Good Sammy

Staff participated in a corporate volunteering day with Good Sammy, a Western Australian social enterprise that creates employment, training and development opportunities for people with disability, while promoting inclusion and sustainability.

Through the collection and sale of quality pre-loved clothing, homewares and furniture, Good Sammy funds programs that support employment pathways and community inclusion. Its work also provides affordable goods for the community and contributes to positive environmental outcomes by diverting reusable items from landfill. 

Held at Good Sammy's warehouse in Canning Vale, our volunteers worked alongside Good Sammy team members to support donation sorting and recycling activities, while learning more about how the organisation supports people across Western Australia. 

The experience was well received, with staff describing it as informative and rewarding.  Many valued the opportunity to contribute to an organisation that is making a real difference in the community.
