Building Financial Knowledge Through Super

On 23 September, the Government Employees Superannuation Board (GESB) delivered a Building Wealth Through Super seminar, providing staff with practical insights into superannuation and the long-term benefits of planning for the future.

The seminar explored the fundamentals of super, including how it works, why it is an important tool for building financial security and the benefits of investing for the long term. Participants also gained an overview of asset classes, unit pricing, investment performance and investment choices, as well as the tax benefits associated with investing in superannuation.

By building their understanding of superannuation and key investment principles, the session encouraged staff to take a more proactive approach to planning for their financial future.
