A motivated leader with 14 years’ experience within the WA Government, David has had extensive involvement within the contract management sector and displays strong stakeholder management skills and long-term strategic planning expertise supported by his legal background

He has most notably managed private prisons contracts for Melaleuca Remand and Reintegration Facility, Wandoo Reintegration Facility and Acacia Prison as well as the state-wide Court Security and Custodial Services Contract for court security, custody and prisoner transport.

He has managed various major contract negotiations, variations and procurement processes, formal dispute resolution processes and was instrumental in the transition of the Melaleuca Remand and Reintegration Facility from private to public operations.

David is also currently leading and managing Corrective Services’ Strategic Corrections Project branch which delivers major projects within Corrective Services including large infrastructure projects and high risk contract transitions.
